Basudev Sunani

Basudev Sunani, born on September 27, 1962, in the village of Maniguda, Jatagad, in Nuapada district, Odisha, is an award-winning poet, writer, and cultural scholar. He earned a bachelor's degree from Odisha College of Veterinary Science and began his professional career as a veterinary doctor in the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department of the Odisha Government. Sunani's first published poetry collection, 'Aneka Kichhi Ghatibara Achi', appeared in 1995, and he has represented Odia poetry on numerous international platforms.
