Kareena Mehta

1 works

Kareena Mehta (Ed.M., M.A.) is a Mumbai-based mental health counsellor, author, and founder of Kare Counselling and Kare Collective. Trained at Teachers College, Columbia University, with further specialisation in positive psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and trauma-informed care from Trauma Institute International, Kareena’s work focuses on making emotional conversations more accessible beyond the therapy room.
Drawing from years of therapeutic practice in New York and India, she created Kare Counselling as a space for ethically grounded and globally informed mental health care. Her latest initiative, Kare Collective, extends this vision through psychology-inspired books, games, and conversation tools designed to encourage reflection, connection, and meaningful dialogue in everyday life. Kareena is also the author of Letters From Your Therapist: On Love and Loss, a reflective collection of therapist-written letters exploring themes of love, grief, identity, relationships, and emotional healing within the contemporary South Asian context.
