Prarthana is an educator, researcher and writer who understands the discourses of culture and language. Her interests centre on memory, women's experiences, and culture studies. She has published research papers and short stories, and has served as a speaker and moderator at many literature festivals. She currently works as Program Coordinator at Prakriti Foundation, an Arts and Culture Foundation based in Chennai.
