Sujata Noronha was born and raised in Mormugao, Goa. She experienced an enriching childhood through play and imagination. Growing up, she was fascinated by the inconsistencies of her everyday world and sought refuge and meaning in books.
She founded Bookworm Goa, a not-for-profit library organisation, in 2005, and has since felt both incredibly hopeful and at times hopeless, but always hopeful for a possibly just future for all, beginning with children.
